Hugging Face is bringing robotics to the masses with the launch of two budget-friendly humanoid robots designed for open-source developers and AI hobbyists.
In a bold step toward accessible robotics, Hugging Face has unveiled HopeJR and Reachy Mini—two humanoid robots aimed at accelerating innovation in the open-source hardware space. HopeJR is expected to be priced around $3,000, while the smaller Reachy Mini will launch between $250–$300, making it one of the most affordable entries in the robotics market.
Both models are expected to begin shipping by late 2025, opening new doors for creators, educators, and startups to experiment with human-like AI interfaces.
